Army Welfare Placement Organization Registration Drive Conducted at Kargil

Kargil, May 22 (KIP)- Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Kargil, Capt (IN) AK Pawar in collaboration with Army Placement Cell (Col Veterans) functioning under Headquarters 72 Sub Area conducted Army Welfare Placement Organization (AWPO) registration drive at Kargil.
The registration drive was conducted for three days from 19 May to 21 May 2025 at Zila Sainik Welfare Office, Kargil.
A Total number of 134 veterans were registered on AWPO website. The veterans community of District Kargil expressed extreme gratitude for conducting this exercise.
This will go a long way in helping the Defence Veterans of Kargil region in starting their second innings not only in Ladakh but also seeking jobs in the Country.
Such registration/placement drive will now become a regular feature which will benefit all veterans of this region and also the nation in an enormous way.
