New Delhi, May 25 (KIP)-BJP Rajya Sabha MP Gulam Ali Khatana on Sunday announced his departure as part of an all-party delegation to eight countries, where he will represent India’s resolute stand against terrorism.
“I, along with other members of the delegation, am heading off to five countries—Dubai, Paris, Rome, Copenhagen, and London—followed by visits to Brussels, Berlin, and Vienna. We are scheduled to return to New Delhi on June 7 at 8:30 PM,” Khatana said before departing.
He emphasized the importance of the tour in raising global awareness about the threats India continues to face. “The reason we are going is to speak for the nation, to speak about this horrendous crisis we were subjected to, in which our country was attacked by terrorists in the cruellest possible way,” he stated.
Khatana asserted that India would not be silenced by terrorism and called on the international community to unite against it. The visit, spanning multiple European capitals and the Middle East, aims to foster solidarity, promote cooperation on counterterrorism, and project India’s consistent message that terrorism in any form is unacceptable.
