Leh, June 12 (KIP)-The Hon'ble Chairman/CEC of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, was today called upon by a delegation from the Sub Committee Language and Culture of the Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA). The officials extended their heartfelt congratulations and expressed profound gratitude to Hon'ble CEC for the recent official recognition of Bhoti as an official language of the Union Territory of Ladakh.The delegation included Dr. Urgyen Dadul, Chairman of the Sub Committee Language and Culture LBA, Ven. Tsering Chosphel, Secretary of the committee, and Ven. Lobzang Nyantak, Convener.During the meeting, the officials engaged in a discussion with H’CEC regarding the practical implementation and increased usage of the Bhoti language in daily life across the Union Territory. Key areas of focus included its integration into schools, government offices, and other public institutions. The committee members also emphasized the critical need for greater accessibility of books and educational materials in the Bhoti language.Hon'ble CEC Adv. Hon’ble CEC Tashi Gyalson Reviews Agling STP, Praises Progress on the Park Project LEH, June 10: Hon'ble Chairman/CEC of LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, today conducted a focused inspection of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Agling, with a particular emphasis on the significant landscaping efforts underway for the new park development at the site. The visit underscores the administration's commitment to enhancing public spaces and infrastructure in the region.H’CEC, accompanied by Executive Officer of the Municipal Committee Leh, Mr. Stanzin Rabgais, and key engineers from the Igoo-Phey divisions, undertook a detailed assessment of the area. Officials provided a comprehensive briefing on the various stages of the park's development, highlighting progress in design and execution.The park project, situated alongside the crucial sewage treatment infrastructure, aims to transform a functional utility area into a community asset, offering recreational opportunities and contributing to the aesthetic appeal of the Agling vicinity. Hon’ble CEC expressed considerable satisfaction with the progress, commending the teams involved for their diligent efforts.
H’CEC called on by members of Pinchimik Village -Nubra Delegation Leh, June 11:Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson was called on by a delegation from members of Pinchimik village-Nubra, youth association and village representatives led by Hon’ble Tigar Councillor Rigzen Lundup. During the meeting, the delegation requested the need for the installation of a mobile tower in Pinchimik village. They also discussed various other issues regarding developmental works in the area.The Hon’ble CEC assured the delegation of his full support in addressing the issues raised.
