SDM Khaltse Chairs Preparatory Meeting for Visit of "His Holiness the Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche"

Khaltse,August 02 (KIP)-In accordance with the directions of the Hon’ble Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC-Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khaltse, Mohd Sharif, chaired a preparatory meeting today at his office in Khaltse. The meeting focused on reviewing and coordinating arrangements for the forthcoming visit and teachings of "His Holiness the Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche", scheduled for August 9–10, 2025, at Zerthang Photang.
The meeting was attended by concerned departmental officers and representatives, including the President of the Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA), Sham Unit. Discussions centered on key logistical and infrastructural aspects, such as road connectivity, drinking water supply, electricity, traffic regulation, parking arrangements (for both VIPs and the general public), medical facilities, public conveniences, seating, public address system installation, and waste management.
