Cycle Rally Marks National Sports Day in Leh

Leh, August 31 (KIP)-To celebrate National Sports Day 2025, a cycle rally was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, UT Ladakh, under the initiative “Sundays on Cycle” in Leh.
DYSSO Leh, Tsering Tashi, welcomed the Chief Guest, Deputy Chairman of LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk, who flagged off the rally from Singay Namgyal Chowk in the presence of students and officials.
More than 100 students, both boys and girls, from government and private schools of Leh district took part with great enthusiasm. Employees of the Youth Services and Sports Leh and officials of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department also joined the rally.
The cyclists passed through Martyrs Chowk, LAHDC Petrol Pump, Sabu Chowk, SBI Bank Choglamsar (Mantokling) and concluded the event at the NDS Ground.
The rally spread the message of fitness, sportsmanship, and environmental awareness while marking National Sports Day in Leh with active participation from students and officials.
