CGPWA joins Swachhta Abhiyan, picks up three venues

Jammu, October 02 (KIP)- Joining the National Program of Swachhta Abhiyan in Jammu, the Central Govt Pensioners’ Welfare Association, Jammu (CGPWA) today picked up spots in three colonies for cleanliness, sending a message to the people to come forward and keep their areas clean on the call of the Prime Minister Narinder Modi. K B Jandial IAS ( Retd) General Secretary of CGPWA led the group at Greenbelt Park, Gandhinagar in collaboration with the Greenbelt Park morning Walkers Association and cleaned the park along with the Open Gym area. Several former civil servants including former Chief Engineers, Er Lalit Mengi & JBS Johar, President RWA Gandhinagar, Er Chander Udhay Sharma, Vijay Phoa, Chief Organizer of Morning Walkers, & retd GM PNB, Jagmohan Gupta, former Director Planning, former SE Er Kamal Dewan, Ravinder Jain President Jain Sabha, Prof Vijeshwar Verma & Dr. S C Puri Om Prakash Sharma Retd S.P., Vijay Verma, Vijay Khurana, both businessmen, Yogesh Kanotra & former SE Er Pratap Singh Arora joined the drive.
At Govt Higher Secondary School, Muthi , Member, CCGPWA, Sewa Dass Digra GSI (Retd) undertook the drive with the help of his morning walkers’ friends and cleaned the area.
At Channi Himmat, Member CGPWA, Sunil Sharma led the morning walker for Swachhta Abhiyan in the main Park of the colony.
