Inter District UT Level U-19 Boys Athletic Meet Commences in Jammu

Jammu, November 06 (KIP)-The Inter District Union Territory Level Athletic Meet for Under-19 Boys commenced on Thursday at the Synthetic Turf, University Ground, here. The event is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, J&K.
The first day of the competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 140 athletes representing all fifteen districts of the J&K. The event is being held under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports, Anuradha Gupta.
The primary objective of the meet is to identify and select the finest athletic talent from across the UT for upcoming higher-level competitions. The event provides a significant platform for young players to showcase their prowess and compete for honors.
Sukhdev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu, appreciated the winners for their outstanding performances and encouraged them to maintain rigorous practice for the National level competitions. The smooth conduct of the event is being managed by a team of experts and technical officials from the department, including Nirmal Singh, Harsimran Singh, Chamel Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Hardev Singh, Amolak Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Parveen Kour, and Ravinder Singh, whose collective efforts have been instrumental in the successful organization of the meet.
The winners of the various events on the first day were awarded medals and certificates. The results are as follows:
100 Meters U-19 Boys:
