National Cooperative Week Celebration Concludes at Kargil

Kargil,November 20 (KIP)-A commemorative event was organized under the banner of the 72nd International Year of Cooperatives 2025 and in celebration of National Cooperative Week. The function was presided over by the Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies, Kargil Dr Sarwar Shahzad (JKAS).
The event witnessed participation from all Assistant Registrar Cooperatives (ARC), officers of various blocks, alongside members of several cooperative societies, FPOs, and other stakeholders. Notable participants included representatives from Ladakh Aquaculture FPO Pashkum, Marketing Society Kargil, Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society Chanigund, Bhimbat, Taisuru & Sani, Tiger Hill Milk & Dairy Cooperative society Faroona, Gulbahar Milk Society Minjee, Tololing FPO Drass, Regional Consumer Cooperative Society Ltd., Padum, Fruits Growers Processing & Marketing Cooperative Society Ltd., Kharul, Consumer Cooperative Store Sankoo, Kargil, Wholesale Super Bazaar.
During the programme, each ARC delivered detailed presentations highlighting the performance of their respective societies and the benefits accrued to the local populace through cooperative initiatives. Appreciation certificates were distributed to well performing societies of the district.
Dr. Shahzad lauded the societies that achieved exceptional performance and encouraged all participants to maintain their enthusiasm, work collectively, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the cooperative sector in Kargil.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthen cooperative values of unity, transparency, and mutual growth.
