LSSSSB Conducts Training Session for Invigilators, Superintendents
and Authentication Officials in Kargil

Kargil, December 03 (KIP)- Ladakh Subordinate Staff Service Selection Board (LSSSSB) successfully conducted a comprehensive Training Session for invigilators, centre superintendents, and authentication officials under the supervision of Secretary LSSSSB, Dr. Zahida Banoo. The session focused on preparing officials for the smooth, fair, and transparent conduct of upcoming LSSSSB examinations.
Also present on the occasion were, Tehsildar Kargil, Ayaz Ahmad; Assistant Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Samina Khatoon; Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Arifa Iqbal; District Informatics Officer Iftikhar Hussain and AO to DC Zakir Hussain.
The training emphasized strict adherence to reporting schedules and examination protocols. Examination centres will open at 8:30 AM, with question papers handed over at 9:00 AM, and all invigilators required to be present in their assigned rooms by 10:30 AM to complete seating arrangements, series allocation, and attendance verification. Confidential materials must be handled carefully, and officials were instructed to maintain discipline, vigilance, and effective coordination.
Detailed instructions were provided regarding conduct of examination. The exam will begin at 11:00 AM and last for 90 minutes, with no extra time allowed except for PwD candidates after verification of their documents. Frisking will be conducted by male staff for male candidates and female staff for female candidates.
Mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, and hidden cameras are strictly prohibited. Candidates are generally not allowed to visit washrooms during the exam except in exceptional cases approved by the Centre Superintendent.
Post-examination procedures were also discussed. Invigilators and authentication officials were instructed to collect, count, and seal both used and unused OMR sheets carefully. Authentication officials were trained on roll number verification, proper use of fully charged Android devices, lighting and background requirements, and thorough biometric scanning of candidates. All officials were requested to join the designated WhatsApp group for real-time communication and troubleshooting.
The session concluded successfully, with all participants reaffirming their commitment to conduct LSSSSB examinations efficiently, transparently, and with integrity, ensuring a smooth and disciplined examination process.
