BJP holds meeting of newly constituted morcha teams

Jammu, December 06 (KIP)-The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today convened a comprehensive meeting of its newly constituted Morcha teams at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. The meeting, aimed at energizing the organizational structure and streamlining upcoming programmes, was chaired by BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, alongside General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul and Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma.
General Secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria, Sanjita Dogra, Gopal Mahajan and Anwar Khan, also graced the occasion.
The party leadership administered the oath of Atmanirbhar Bharat, reaffirming the BJP’s commitment to promoting swadedhi, self-reliance.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma said that the constitution of the new Morcha teams reflects the party’s resolve to strengthen its organizational depth and widen its outreach. He emphasized that every Morcha has a crucial role in connecting with diverse social groups and ensuring that the government’s welfare schemes are implemented effectively on the ground.
Our aim is to further enhance coordination between the party and the people. The newly formed teams must work with renewed enthusiasm, uphold party discipline, and take the message of development and good governance to every household, he said.
Sat Sharma encouraged the Morcha leaders to adopt innovative approaches for public engagement and to prioritize inclusivity in their activities.
General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, while outlining the upcoming programmes, informed the teams that they must vontribute in programme on Good Governance Day, Mann Ki Baat, and the ongoing Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign. He directed the Morchas to constitute district-level teams at the earliest and ensure that these initiatives effectively reach the booth level, which he described as the backbone of the organization. The responsibility entrusted to you is vital. We must work collectively to strengthen the party’s presence at every booth and ensure meaningful participation from all sections of society, Koul stated. He added that continuous coordination and timely execution of tasks would be key to achieving the party’s goals in the coming months.
Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma also addressed the meeting, highlighting the importance of better coordination between Morchas, district units, and booth cadres. He said that the newly nominated teams must focus on grassroots mobilisation and work tirelessly to counter misinformation while spreading awareness of government initiatives. He stressed that committed, ethical, and people-oriented functioning would further fortify the party’s organizational framework.
General Secretary Gopal Mahajan conducted proceedings of the meeting.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Morcha presidents Neha Mahajan, Brahmjot Satti, Dharminder Kumar, Rakesh Pant, Arun Prabhat Singh, and Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, along with their respective teams. The meeting concluded with a resolve to work collectively toward strengthening the party’s outreach and ensuring effective implementation of all upcoming programmes.
