Police Conducts 30 Public Outreach Programmes Across district Baramulla

Srinagar, December 11 (KIP)- As part of its ongoing community engagement initiative, Police in Baramulla conducted Public outreach Programmes at 30 locations across the district viz Karewa, Khisipora, Pati Jathar, Kalantara Bala, Poshwani, Ganiepora, Om Burn, Mirchimar, Goom Ahmadpora, Saderbal, Sultanpora, Nambla, Maidanan, Saidpora, Trikanjan, Braripora, Chapper, Bandi, Brahmana, Hajibal, Wailo, Badipora, Habligam, Poot Pathri, Bichipora, Gujar Sangri, Rangwar, Nardkhal Gulistani, Frasthar, Khawaja Sahib & Khusalpora.
These events, chaired by jurisdictional officers, witnessed active participation of local residents who raised various policing and civic concerns. Officers assured timely redressal of all genuine issues highlighted during the interactions.
Police officials also delivered awareness sessions on the new criminal laws (BNS, BNSS & BSA), explaining key provisions to enhance public understanding. They further sought community support in maintaining peace, combating drug abuse, and identifying anti-social elements.
The initiative received positive public response and reaffirmed Police’s commitment to transparent, responsive, and people-centric policing through sustained community outreach.
