Sat Sharma, Sunil Sharma, senior leaders of BJP join Nagar Kirtan, serve Langar

Jammu, January 03 (KIP)- Senior leadership of BJP led by J&K BJP President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Sat Sharma CA, and Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, participated in the holy Nagar Kirtan at Jammu and served Langar to the devotees, on the sacred occasion of Prakash Gurpurab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Paying heartfelt tributes to the Guru Sahib ji and the glorious Khalsa Panth, the BJP leaders prayed for peace, harmony, and prosperity, reaffirming that the ideals of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the Khalsa Panth will continue to guide the humanity.
J&K BJP Vice-President Rashpaul Verma, General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, and Gopal Mahajan, MLA Yudhvir Sethi, Minority Morcha President Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, spokesperson Adv. Parimoksh Seth, and other senior party leaders were also present. The BJP leaders performed sewa with humility, serving Langar to thousands of devotees in an atmosphere filled with devotion, unity, and spiritual fervour.
Addressing the occasion, Sat Sharma said that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave the world the eternal ideals of courage, sacrifice, equality, and righteousness through the creation of the Khalsa. He said that the Khalsa Panth has always stood at the forefront in protecting Bharat’s unity, integrity, and cultural ethos. Participating in Nagar Kirtan and serving Langar is a sacred honour and a reflection of the Guru’s timeless message of selfless service and brotherhood, he said.
Highlighting the commitment of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi–led government towards Sikhism, Sat Sharma said that historic initiatives like the Kartarpur Corridor, declaration of Veer Bal Diwas to honour the Sahibzadas, national-level commemorations of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s martyrdom, facilitation of Sikh pilgrimages, and decisive steps to protect Sikh dignity worldwide demonstrate unprecedented respect for the Khalsa.
Sunil Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that the Khalsa Panth is the living symbol of bravery, justice, and patriotism. He said that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s teachings inspire every Indian to stand fearlessly for truth and humanity. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the nation has ensured that Sikh history, sacrifices, and sentiments receive due honour and global recognition, he added.
