Jammu,January 04 (KIP)- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Ministers today extended warm greetings to the Sikh community and all those celebrating the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
In his message, the Chief Minister paid rich tributes to the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, describing him as a beacon of truth, courage, integrity and unwavering devotion to humanity.
He said that the Guru’s timeless ideals of sacrifice, righteousness and service continue to inspire millions across the world and will remain a guiding light for generations to come.
On the auspicious occasion, the Chief Minister prayed for peace, prosperity and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir, and expressed hope that the spirit of the day would further strengthen the bonds of unity, brotherhood and communal harmony among all sections of society.

Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar today extended warm greetings to the people, especially Sikh community living in Jammu & Kashmir and across India on the auspicious occasion of Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
In his message, the Minister paid rich tributes to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, remembering him as a great spiritual leader, visionary reformer and the embodiment of courage and compassion. The Minister exhorted people, especially the younger generation, to follow the noble teachings and rich legacy of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, emphasizing unity, mutual respect and harmony among all communities. He also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity for Jammu & Kashmir and the nation as a whole.
