A meeting on the Aspirational Block Programme was chaired by CPO, Leh

Leh,January 10 (KIP)- t the outset, the Chair informed that the Govt. of India has designated a Secretary as the Nodal Officer for overseeing the Aspirational Block Programme, in the Leh district. He apprised that the Nodal Officer is taking review of the scheme shortly and emphasised on participants to fully prepare for the forthcoming meeting.

The CPO then reviewed indicator-wise data of Rubsho village and urged the concerned departments to develop a clear and detailed understanding of each indicator. He highlighted discrepancies observed in the data and stressed the importance of maintaining accuracy and consistency in reported figures.

Department-wise discussions were held on key indicators pertaining to Health, Education, Agriculture, BharatNet, PM-KISAN, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and other related sectors. Targets under each indicator were reviewed, and departments were directed to compile and finalize detailed inputs and supporting data in preparation for the upcoming review meeting.

The meeting also focused on identifying data gaps and discrepancies, and the Chair instructed concerned departments to rectify the same at the earliest. Further, departments were directed to prepare and submit new project proposals aligned with the objectives of the Aspirational Block Programme.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on inter-departmental coordination and timely readiness for the scheduled interaction with the Nodal Officer.
This meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer Leh, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Leh, Chief Agriculture Officer, Leh, NRLM District Coordinator, and other concerned officers attended both virtually and physical.
