Ashok Koul undertakes outreach campaign, interacts with eminent citizens

Jammu, June 17 (KIP)-J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul interacted with prominent citizens of Pamposh Colony and Ward No. 38, Paloura, in District Jammu North, as a part of Special Outreach Campaign being conducted under the theme “12 Years of Trust, Development & Public Welfare.”

The interaction witnessed the participation of eminent citizens including Ramakant Manhas, R.L. Tang, Kulbhushan Qazi, Sanjay Sharma, and Ravinder Salathia, who shared their views and discussed various public issues and developmental matters.

Ashok Koul, while interacting with the eminent citizens, said that the past twelve years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have marked a transformative phase in India’s development journey, characterized by transparent governance, inclusive growth, and people-centric welfare initiatives. He stated that the government has worked with the objective of ensuring that the benefits of development reach every section of society without discrimination.

Koul emphasized that landmark reforms, massive infrastructure expansion, digital empowerment, improved social security coverage, and targeted welfare schemes have significantly improved the quality of life of citizens across the country. He said that Jammu & Kashmir has particularly witnessed unprecedented development, strengthened connectivity, enhanced public services, and greater opportunities for youth, women, farmers, and entrepreneurs.

He further said that the outreach campaign aims to directly connect with citizens, gather feedback, and inform people about the achievements and welfare measures implemented during the last twelve years. Koul asserted that public participation remains the cornerstone of good governance and nation-building.

Speaking on the occasion, District Jammu North President Nand Kishore Sharma said that the BJP remains committed to maintaining close contact with the public and ensuring that government schemes reach every deserving beneficiary. He added that such interactions strengthen public trust and help address local concerns more effectively.

District Jammu North Vice President Ajay Manhas, Former Corporator Surinder Sharma, District BJYM President Rajat Manhas, and District BJYM Vice President Aman Sharma were also present during the programme.
