Drass Police Step Up Anti-Drug Measures with K-9 Deployment at Minamarg

Drass, July 02 (KIP)- In a determined move to curb and prevent the supply of narcotic substances into Ladakh, District Police Drass has deployed trained K-9 Sniffer Dogs at Police Post Minamarg.
The highly trained sniffer dogs are capable of detecting the presence of narcotic substances concealed in vehicles, luggage and with individuals. The deployment is aimed at strengthening surveillance and ensuring effective enforcement against drug trafficking along the strategic route leading into Ladakh.
District Police Drass remains committed to maintaining a drug-free society and will continue to adopt advanced measures to combat the menace of narcotics.
The general public and commuters are requested to cooperate with the Police during checking and screening. Their support is essential in ensuring effective enforcement and safeguarding the region from the threat of narcotic substances.
