PSA Mourns Heartbreaking Loss of Seven-Year-Old Frontline Model School Student Rehan Dar

Srinagar, August 02 (KIP)-The Private Schools Association (PSA) has expressed profound grief and heartfelt condolences over the tragic demise of seven-year-old Rehan Ahmad Dar, a Class-Ist student of Frontline Model School, Mawer, Handwara, who lost his life in a tragic landslide incident on the school premises.
In a joint statement issued by the Private Schools Association (PSA) through its Director of Media & Communications, Dr. Owais Mattoo, the Association's leadership expressed profound grief and heartfelt condolences over the tragic demise of little Rehan Ahmad Dar. PSA State President Bilal Ahmad Bhat, along with the members of the State Executive Body, PSA Kupwara District President Tanveer Ahmad Lone, District Vice President Altaf Ahmad Shah, members of the District Executive Committee and all Zonal office bearers, described the incident as an irreparable tragedy that has plunged the entire educational fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir into deep shock and mourning. They said the untimely loss of an innocent child is heartbreaking and has left the entire school community grief-stricken.
The Association also extended its heartfelt sympathies to North Kashmir Member Parliament (MP) & Chairman of Frontline Model School Er. Abdul Rashid, MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad and especially to the bereaved parents, family members, teachers, students and staff of the school.
Expressing sorrow over the tragic incident, PSA State President Bilal Ahmad Bhat said "The untimely and heartbreaking loss of little Rehan Ahmad Dar has left the entire Private Schools fraternity devastated. No words can ease the pain of parents who have lost their beloved child. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the bereaved family in this hour of immense grief and pray that Almighty Allah grants the departed child the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and blesses the family with strength, patience and courage to bear this irreparable loss."
Bhat also appreciated the prompt efforts made by the school administration, teachers and emergency responders, who immediately rushed the child to NTPHC Qalamabad in a desperate attempt to save his life.
PSA Kupwara District President Tanveer Ahmad Lone termed the incident one of the most painful moments for the district's school community. "The tragic death of an innocent child has shaken every teacher, student and school management across Kupwara district. We share the grief of the bereaved family and pray that Allah Almighty grants them immense patience (Sabr-e-Jameel). The entire PSA family stands united with them during this difficult time."
District Vice President Altaf Ahmad Shah said the tragedy has left an emotional void that cannot be filled. "Every child is a precious trust of Allah. Losing a young student in such tragic circumstances is heartbreaking for the entire educational fraternity. Our prayers remain with Rehan's family, his classmates, teachers and everyone associated with Frontline Model School."
The Association also acknowledged the immediate response of the school's faculty, staff and local emergency services, whose sincere efforts reflected their commitment and concern in trying to save the young student's life.
The PSA leadership prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and reaffirmed that the entire Private Schools fraternity stands in complete solidarity with the bereaved family, the management of Frontline Model School and all those affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.
