DC Drass Reviews Preparations for Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

Drass, August 08 (KIP)- The Deputy Commissioner Drass, Imteeaz Kacho today chaired a meeting to deliberate upon preparations for the upcoming Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to be held in Drass from 9th to 17th August in sync with the nation-wide celebrations.

The meeting was attended by Superintendent of Police Ishtyaq Kacho; Tehsildar (HQ) Abdul Aziz; Principals of Higher Secondary Schools of Drass and Bhimbat, ZEO Mohammad Ibrahim; Assistant Professor GDC-Drass, Dr. Sajjad Hussain and other concerned officials.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner discussed a detailed plan to make the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign more meaningful, participatory and engaging, with special emphasis on the involvement of students and the local community.

It was decided that a bike rally and a cycle rally apart from a public rally will be organized at various locations in the District on different dates to encourage greater public participation.

Directions were also passed to have internal events in offices and educational institutions independently and share the photographs.

Emphasis was also laid on conducting cleanliness and beautification drives in the District during the campaign. School walls and market walls will be painted with patriotic themes with participation from students and the general public to give Drass a festive and patriotic look.

The DC also stressed the importance of proper arrangements for the welcome and coordination of bikers participating in the rallies, assigning responsibilities to the concerned Nambardars. He further directed the concerned teams to explore the use of drones for aerial coverage of the celebrations and rallies.

The Deputy Commissioner called upon all departments, educational institutions and the local community to work together to ensure that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign becomes a collective celebration of patriotism, cleanliness, youth participation and community spirit.
