Strengthen Booths, intensify public connect: Ashok Koul to BJP’s Pulwama cadre

Kangan, Pulwama, August 25 (KIP)-BJP General Secretary (Organization), J&K, Ashok Koul, chaired a Constituency Review Meeting of Rajpora Constituency at Kangan, District Pulwama, with the constituency team, Booth Presidents and Shakti Kendra teams, stressing that a strong booth-level organization is the foundation of BJP’s political strength and public outreach.

Ashok Koul, while addressing the meeting, said that the BJP must further intensify its grassroots activities in Rajpora and ensure that every booth becomes an active center of organizational work and public connect. He called upon party workers to move beyond routine organizational activities and work with greater commitment, discipline and coordination to establish a strong and vibrant BJP presence across the constituency.

Koul said that the strength of the BJP is its dedicated cadre and its direct connect with the people, and every worker must remain continuously accessible to the public. He emphasized that Booth Presidents and Shakti Kendra teams have a crucial responsibility in understanding local issues, communicating the party’s policies and achievements, and strengthening public confidence in the BJP.

Ashok Koul took detailed feedback from the constituency functionaries regarding the functioning of booths and Shakti Kendras and directed the teams to maintain close coordination, regular communication and a result-oriented approach. He stressed that organizational gaps must be identified and addressed promptly, while grassroots engagement should be made more consistent and effective.

Koul asked the workers to work as one coordinated team and said that the BJP’s organizational expansion in Kashmir will be driven by dedicated workers, disciplined teamwork and sustained engagement with the people. He called for renewed efforts to strengthen the party at every booth and constituency level.

J&K BJP General Secretary Kisan Morcha Arshad Bhat, Rajpora Constituency President Junaid Ahmad, and other senior leaders and party functionaries were present.

Later, Ashok Koul distributed certificates and awards to talented Paper Machie artisans at Town Hall, Pulwama, organized by Noora Foundation Trust, recognizing their exceptional craftsmanship and contribution towards preserving the region’s rich traditional art and cultural heritage. Arshad Bhat and other senior leaders were also present.

Koul appreciated the artisans for keeping the traditional Paper Machie craft alive and emphasized the need to encourage such indigenous skills, which represent the rich cultural identity and heritage of Kashmir.
