IUST Holds Industry-Academia Interaction for B.Voc Tourism & Hospitality Students

IUST Awantipora, August 27 (KIP)-The Centre for Good Governance & Policy Analysis (CGG&PA), IUST, organised an industry-academia interaction session for students of B.Voc Tourism & Hospitality Management, with Mr. Khalid Nazir, Senior Consultant, Corporate Guest Relations, The Lalit New Delhi and The Lalit Suri Hospitality School, Delhi NCR, as the guest speaker.
The session provided students with valuable industry perspectives on the evolving hospitality and tourism landscape, emerging career pathways, professional competencies, guest relations, and diverse opportunities across the sector. Drawing on his rich professional experience and practical insights, Mr. Nazir highlighted industry expectations and encouraged students to pursue their careers with professionalism, adaptability and a commitment to service excellence.
