Authorities neglected the development of Major pilgrim destination Sant Ashram at Sunderbani

Sunderbani, September 06 (KIP)-Allgeging gross neglect of the pilgrim destination at Sunderbani ,Former MLC and Chief Spokesperson JKPCC Mr Ravinder Sharma has urged the government and public representatives to give special focus to developmental gaps & needs of "Dharamnagri" Sunderbani which has emerged as a major pilgrims destination in north India after the establishment of Ashram of Peethadheeshwar Mahamandleshwar Swami Vishwatmanand ji ,where lakhs of devotees and Budda Amarnath pilgrims from various parts of Country visit through out the year.
A large number of other temples and Ashram of Sant Baitrayan wale & Bawa Kanshi gir ji( POJK) besides important temples at Lamman, Kund,Fulwari and other religious places have come up in and around the area putting lot of pressure of devotees ,visitors on the minimum facilities in the area.
Accompanied by prominent Congress leaders, Mr Sharma interacted with the local people who complained of neglect and non restoration of important damaged road blocked for four months leading to Doba,Lamman comprising of 5000 population.
A two wheeler driver died due to neglect of damaged road few months back but authorities took no steps to repair or restore the road from Sunderbani Ashram to Lamman,kund,Doba,firing line.
Mr Ravinder Sharma took strong exception to the casual approach of the authorities and criminal negligence in the matter and demanded immediate action to restore the road in two weeks failing which people are ready for agitation.
Mr Sharma assured that he would take up the matter with the Dy CM besides other representatives to immediately take up the urgent work as people, students and children are facing lot of hardships due to neglect of the urgent repairs.
He spoke to Executive Engineer R&B and asked him to take up urgent repairs or dace agitation. He also asked the MP and MLA to release necessary funds from their CDF for immediate repairs and restoration till work is sanctioned by the department.
Later Mr Sharma visited Sant Baitrayan Ashram Kund and met Sant Inderjeet ji ,Gaddi Sanchalak and saw the condition of link road and demanded immediate sanction of the small link road and other lighting facilities for pilgrims and devotees enroute the Sant Ashram.
The parents of children of KV school inside BSF complex Sunderbani demanded solving the problem of entry of children in the complex as they have to take a long route of three kms to reach school. The BSF authorities are creating problems for the children studying in the KV school inside complex.
Former MLC assured to meet and write to the higher authorities of BSF and civil administration to solve the genuine issues of students and parents of KV school Sunderbani.
Mr Sharma regretted that BJP government claims to be spending crores of rupees to improve the facilities for the religuois & pilgrimage destinations but the condition of Sunderbani town and adjoining areas of Swami ji Ashram and multiple temples around it, is worst.it has become Dharamnagri and a major pilgrimage destination in north India but government has failed to create necessary facilities for pilgrims and devotees.
A large number of Budda Amarnath yatris too visit the Ashram and adjoining historic temples but there is no attention of concerned authorities or present representatives.
He sought immediate special focus on the development needs of the Dharamnagri Sunderbani, otherwise the public representatives owe an answer to the people of the area.
