SSP Sham Conducts Extensive Outreach Visit to Aryan Valley

Khaltsi, September 12 (KIP)-SSP Sham, Sh. Malik Aijaz, JKPS, along with SHO Police Station Khaltsi, Inspector Sh. Tsewang Norboo, today conducted an extensive outreach visit to the Aryan Valley, commencing from the newly added village of Gurgurdo, followed by visits to Darchik, Garkone, Hanu and other border villages.
They were accompanied by local religious and community leaders, Ms. Purnima Sharma from the Department of Forensics, and other concerned officials. During the visit, the team interacted with village Numberdars, local residents and youth, listened to their grievances and discussed possible measures for their resolution.
The upcoming Sub-Inspector and Constable recruitment drives in Ladakh Police were also discussed. SSP Sham apprised the youth about the orientation programmes being organised by Sham Police to guide aspiring candidates about the recruitment process and effective preparation. He also encouraged the youth to make the most of available career opportunities.
The visit reaffirmed the commitment of Sham Police towards community engagement, youth empowerment and responsive policing, with continued efforts to strengthen the connect between the police and the people of the region.
