BJP remembers Deendayal Upadhyaya on 110th birth anniversary

Jammu/Srinagar,September 25 (KIP)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, observed the 110th birth anniversary of its ideologue and visionary leader, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Ji, with programmes at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, and at J-53, Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, besides tributes being paid at various organizational levels across the Union Territory.
At the BJP headquarters in Jammu, J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA), accompanied by Vice-President Ashwani Sharma and Rekha Mahajan, General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, along with Pawan Sharma, Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Ajay Vaid, Dharminder Kumar, Parduman Singh, Sanjay Kumar Baru and other senior leaders, paid floral tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Ji.
Sat Sharma, while paying tributes, said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, born on September 25, 1916, and a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, was a profound philosopher, dedicated organizer and guiding light whose thoughts continue to provide ideological and moral direction to the BJP. He said his philosophy of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya placed the welfare and dignity of the last person in society at the center of national development.
Sat Sharma said that Pandit Ji's vision finds reflection in welfare-oriented governance focused on empowering people socially and economically. He added that while individuals do not live forever, great personalities such as Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya continue to live through their ideals and inspire generations.
In Srinagar, BJP J&K General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul paid floral tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Ji. J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, BJP Vice-President Dr. Shahnaz Ganai, Secretary Arif Raja and other senior leaders were present.
Ashok Koul recalled Pandit Ji's life of simplicity, dedication and service, saying that despite facing hardships from an early age, he remained steadfast in his mission of serving the nation and society. He said Pandit Ji worked to strengthen social unity, patriotism and equality, and asked party workers to spread awareness about his nationalist thought and pro-people principles.
Koul said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's life remains an enduring source of inspiration for every BJP worker and called upon them to carry forward his commitment to service, social harmony and national reconstruction.
