Ladakh Day cum Inter-House Cultural Competition Held at PM Shri Government Middle School Nimoo

Leh, September 30 (KIP)-Ladakh Day cum Inter-House Cultural Competition was held at PM Shri Government Middle School, Nimoo, today with the participation of students, staff, parents and members of the local community.
Smt. Padma Deachen, Zonal Education Officer, Leh, was the Chief Guest, while Smt. Shakeela, Headquarters Assistant to the Chief Education Officer, Leh, attended the programme as the Guest of Honour.
The programme was attended by members of the School Management Committee, President Ama Tsogspa, Nimoo, President Kunthus Thogspa, Nimoo, President Saturday Group, Nimoo, President United Snymoo, Headmaster, High School Nimoo, Headmasters of Middle School Tunglung Basgo and Middle School Basgo, besides parents and villagers.
As part of the Inter-House Cultural Competition, students from the two houses, Ralpa House and Nangpa House, participated in various events, including Traditional Ladakhi Dance, Solo Junglu, Short Skit, Rhymes and Modern Ladakhi Dance. The students showcased their talent and enthusiasm through the various performances.
Ralpa House emerged as the winner and was awarded the Champions Trophy.
On the occasion, Chief Guest Smt. Padma Deachen, ZEO Leh, presented Certificates of Appreciation to the staff members of the school in recognition of their contribution.
Parents also brought and served a variety of traditional Ladakhi dishes for the guests and participants, which was appreciated by all.
