Srinagar, November 11 (KIP)-Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) President and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Tuesday expressed deep shock and grief over the terror attack at Red Fort, in which several innocent people were killed and many others sustained serious injuries.

In a statement issued to the press, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen described the incident as a barbaric and cowardly act carried out by enemies of peace and humanity. He said the perpetrators of such heinous crimes deserve the severest possible punishment and must be brought to justice swiftly.

“Attacks like these are aimed at disturbing communal harmony and peace in the country. The loss of innocent lives in such incidents is extremely painful and condemnable. My heart goes out to the families who have lost their loved ones in this senseless act of violence,” Yaseen said.

The PDF leader offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for courage and strength for them to bear the irreparable loss. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack, urging authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the victims.

Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen called upon the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to order a high-level investigation and ensure that the attackers and their handlers are nabbled and put behind bars at the earliest.

He said such violent acts must be met with a firm and united response from the entire nation, as they pose a direct challenge to India’s sovereignty and security.

“Violence in any form is unacceptable and cannot be justified under any circumstances,” Yaseen said, adding that those who try to create fear and instability through bloodshed will never succeed in their designs. He urged people to stand together in solidarity against terror and to preserve peace, harmony, and brotherhood.

He reiterated that peace and dialogue are the only means to resolve issues, not violence and destruction.

“We must not allow such incidents to divide us. Instead, as responsible citizens, we should strengthen our collective resolve to defeat the forces of hatred and terror,” he said.

Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen once again conveyed his condolences to the victim families and reaffirmed his faith in the resilience and unity of the people of India in the face of such tragedies.
