First Triennial Conference of All India Jammu And Kashmir Bank Officers Organization held at Jammu

Jammu, April 13 (KIP)-The first triennial conference of ALL INDIA JAMMU AND KASHMIR BANK OFFICERS ORGANIZATION held today at Country Inn & Suites Bahu Plaza Jammu. The inaugural session of the conference was presided over by Hon’ble Labour Commissioner of J&K Sh. Charandeep Singh Ji as Chief Guest while Sh. Pawan Kumar Ji (North India Org. Secy. BMS) was keynote speaker and Sh. Aadarsh K N Ji (All India Gen. Secy. NOBO) and Smt. Neelam Sharma Ji (Gen Secy BMS J&K) remained present as guests of honour. The conference was attended by delegates from Kashmir, Jammu, Punjab, Delhi and other parts of the country along with guests from civil society.
The Chief Guest appreciated and praised the positive role being played by AIJKBOO in the bank. He emphasized upon the legal character of trade unions and expressed concern about the fact that many unions remain unregistered or do not file mandatory returns with the office of Labour Commissioner which practice needs to be stopped for becoming legally correct. He expressed satisfaction that AIJKBOO is following the prescribed practice as per law and extended best wishes for new executive declared in the conference.
Sh. Pawan Kumar Ji emphasized upon the role of BMS in working classes in general and banking sector in particular. He stressed upon searching means for a developed society in India in coming 30 years and emphasized upon role of banking sector for the developed nation. Sh. Aadarsh K N Ji addressed the conference about role and challenges of UFBU in settling many issues of banking sector with IBA.
Three resolutions were passed by the conference delegates on topics “Appeal to Bank management to bear the burden of employee perquisites and implementation of performance linked incentive (PLI) as per IBA-UFBU agreement”, “Appeal to Bank management for new recruitment in the bank” and “Enhancement in subscription fee of members of AIJKBOO from Rs. 25/- to Rs. 100/- per month”.
Since the three years tenure of the incumbent executive was over, the existing executive body was dissolved and new executive for Kashmir Unit, Jammu Unit, Delhi Unit and South India Unit were unanimously elected along with all India body for three years term of 2025-28 as follows;

Vice President – Sh. Dewaker Bakerwal Ji (Jammu Unit).
Vice President – Sh. Zubair Anjum Khan Ji (Kashmir Unit).
General Secretary – Sh. Mukesh Kumar Ji (Jammu Unit).
Deputy General Secretary - Sh. Rohit Singh Langeh Ji (Jammu Unit).
Organizing Secretary – Sh. Pawnish Kapoor Ji (Delhi Unit).
Deputy Organizing Secretary – Sh. Akhil Bali Ji (Southern India Unit).
Secretary - Sh. Arjun Manhas Ji (Delhi Unit).
Secretary - Sh. Dhairyashil Vijay Wagh Ji (Southern India Unit).

Social Issues Coordination Committee of AIJKBOO with convenorship of Sh. Deepak Bhan Ji and Sh. Pankaj Taggar Ji.
Sports Committee of AIJKBOO with convenorship of Sh. Mohit Verma Ji and Sh. Varun Gupta Ji.
All India J&K Bank retirees Organization with convenorship of Sh. Ashwani Ji and Sh. M A wanchoo Ji.
All India J&K Bank Women Organization with convenorship of Smt. Alka Ji.
The Conference witnessed General Secy. Report and Finance Secy. report for last three years and concluded with vote of thanks by new President of AIJKBOO followed by National Anthem.
