CEC bids farewell to Sajad Hussain Mufti (IFS) on his Superannuation

Leh, July 08 (KIP)- Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson extended a warm and heartfelt farewell to Shri Sajad Hussain Mufti (IFS), Chief Conservator of Forests and Chief Wildlife Warden, UT Ladakh, on the occasion of his superannuation. The farewell was held at the office chamber of the Hon’ble CEC in the presence of Hon’ble Executive Councillors Shri Ghulam Mehdi and Shri Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, Hon’ble Councillor Shri Karma Namdak, Nominated Councillor Ven. Konchok Tsepal, Deputy Commissioner Leh, Shri Romil Singh Donk (IAS), and DFO Leh, Shri Mohd Ali.In his remarks, the Hon’ble CEC acknowledged Shri Mufti’s dedicated service to Ladakh and his balanced, people-centric approach to conservation. He especially recalled Shri Mufti’s instrumental role in leading the long-awaited rationalisation of wildlife sanctuary boundaries in the region of Changthang and Nubra—a long-pending issue that was formally finalised at the State Board for Wildlife.On behalf of LAHDC Leh, the Hon’ble CEC conveyed his best wishes for his future endeavours and hope that his vast experience will continue to guide conservation and governance efforts in the future.
