Arvind Gupta holds meeting with Power Grid Department

Jammu, July 10 (KIP)-Arvind Gupta, Secretary, J&K BJP and MLA from Jammu West Assembly Constituency, held a Public Darbar at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
MLA also held a meeting with officials of the Power Grid Department to address the public concerns regarding electricity supply in the region. Present in the meeting were Deputy General Manager Sh. Syed Alamdar Hussain, Deputy Manager Vivek Ji, and Junior Engineer Aman Sharma.
The public darbar witnessed an overwhelming response from people across various localities and social segments, who turned up in large numbers to raise their civic and administrative concerns.
During the Darbar, several deputations met Arvind Gupta and highlighted a wide range of issues affecting their daily lives. These included the need for repair of damaged roads, upgradation of drainage systems, irregular water and power supply, delay in pension disbursement, sanitation issues in residential colonies, and requests for early processing of files in revenue and municipal departments. A few individuals also raised matters related to ration cards, social welfare schemes, and pending job-related documentation.
Arvind Gupta gave a patient hearing to each deputation and took note of every grievance in detail. He promptly conveyed the matters to the concerned departmental authorities in oral and written communications and ensures immediate redressal.
While addressing the gathering, Arvind Gupta reiterated BJP’s unwavering commitment to development and public service in Jammu & Kashmir. “The BJP stands with the people of J&K and believes in the politics of delivery and accountability. These Public Darbars are a step to bridge the gap between the administration and the common man,” he said.
He further added, “Our government is focused on ensuring inclusive growth and resolving genuine public concerns in a time-bound manner. The feedback received here is being documented and will be followed up thoroughly until satisfactory action is taken.”
During the meeting with Power Grid Department, MLA Gupta emphasized the importance of ensuring uninterrupted power supply and directed the officials to augment existing transformers to meet the growing demands of the population. He also instructed the department to prioritize the timely resolution of public grievances, reiterating that people’s comfort and essential needs must always come first.
