J&K Police organises mega Tiranga rallies across PD Awantipora & Handwara

Srinagar, August 11 (KIP)-As part of the ongoing celebrations under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga & Meri Maati Mera Desh campaigns’, J&K police along with civil admin organised mega Tiranga rallies across PD Awantipora & Handwara.
In Awantipora, the ‘Tiranga Rally’, was flagged off from District Police Lines Awantipora and saw enthusiastic participation from youth, community members, civil society representatives, and officers from Police, CRPF, and Civil Administration including MLA Tral, SSP Awantipora, ADC Awantipora, Addl. SP Awantipora. Participants carried the tricolour with pride, raising patriotic slogans. Speaking on the occasion, officers highlighted the significance of the national flag as a symbol of unity, freedom, and justice, urging citizens especially the youth to uphold these values in their daily lives.
Besides, another rally was flagged off from Bajwani Stadium Tral in which enthusiastic participation from youth, community members, civil society representatives, and officers from Police, CRPF, and Civil Administration, including MLA Tral, ADC Tral, Addl. SP Awantipora, SDPO Tral, Tehsildar Tral, Tehsildar Aripal SHO Tral. Participants carried the tricolour with pride, raising patriotic slogans throughout the 3 km route up-to Main Chowk Tral.
Moreover, J&K Police in Handwara in collaboration with the Education Department and civil society, today conducted mega Tiranga rallies as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga and Meri Maati Mera Desh campaigns. The rallies were held simultaneously at multiple locations including Handwara, Langate, Qalamabad, Vilgam, and Kralgund, witnessing overwhelming participation of police officers /officials, students of different schools, teachers, members of civil society, and local residents. The events were flagged off by senior police officers. Students, dressed in vibrant uniforms, carried banners and placards promoting unity, peace, and the importance of preserving the ideals of freedom.
During the culmination ceremonies at respective venues, the National Anthem was sung in unison, and speakers highlighted the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters, urging citizens to contribute towards building a stronger and more united India.
