JKPCC remembers Indira Gandhi on her Martyrdom Day
recollects her supreme sacrifices, selfless services towards Nation

Srinagar,October 31 (KIP)-J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Friday recollected the supreme sacrifices and selfless services of Indira Gandhi towards the Nation, saluting her bravery, political wisdom and leadership qualities.
JKPCC also paid rich tributes to Sardar Vallabhai Patel on his birth anniversary, terming him a man of integrity.
JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra alongwith CLP Leader and AICC General Secretary G.A.Mir and other Senior Leaders paid floral tributes to Indira Gandhi on her 41st Martyrdom Day in a function held at Srinagar Congress headquarter in which Senior Party Leaders, Former Minister and District Presidents from across Kashmir region and district presidents were present.
The leaders recollected the supreme sacrifices and selfless services of Indira Gandhi in Nation building, terming her a visionary and tallest Leader, who gave befitting reply to the external threats and conspiracies against India with great political wisdom and courage.
JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra, who presided over the tribute function said Indira Gandhi was a stalwart leader and best stateman, she has the honour to become first Lady Prime Minister of this great Nation (India) and played a crucial role in the inclusive development of country & championed the cause of poor, downtrodden and marginalized sections of the country.
Gandhi was a unifying force, a leader of masses, her dedication and sacrifices for the Nation shall continue to inspire generations, Karra added and said we remember with great respect the conviction, courage and political wisdom of Late. Indira Gandhi.
JKPCC President also paid glowing tributes to Sardar Vallabh Patel on his birth anniversary, terming him a man of integrity and tallest leader of India.
CLP Leader and AICC General Secretary said Indira Ji gave her life for the Nation, she never compromised on the integrity and sovereignty of India. She dealt with external threats and internal challenges with iron hands, ensuring a safe and secure atmosphere in the country. She will continue to remain a source of great inspiration to every India, he said.
Former JKPCC President Peerzada Mohd Sayeed also spoke on the occasion and paid floral tributes to Indira Gandhi.
