Mimings Si Rjabstogs Campaign to Strengthen Public Outreach and Welfare Initiatives Begins in Nubra

Nubra, November 10 (KIP)-The Mimings Si Rjabstogs outreach camp commenced today at Nungsted village in Nubra, with the objective of strengthening public outreach and welfare initiatives.

During the camp, Tehsildar Sumoor, Tashi Chhostak, interacted with the villagers and briefed them on the objectives and benefits of the programme. He emphasized that the initiative aims to bring various government services and welfare schemes closer to the people and urged villagers to take full advantage of the facilities provided during the camp.

A total of 16 departments participated in the outreach camp, including the Revenue Department, Forest Department, Animal Husbandry Department, Education Department, PWD, Medical Department, Agriculture Department, Food and Civil Supplies Department, Rural Development Department, Cooperative Department, PDD, Irrigation Department, J&K Bank and ICDS.

Officials from these departments shared information about their respective government schemes, provided on the spot grievance redressal and delivered essential public services to the people.

During the camp, a range of services and documents were provided, including 16 LRCs, 2 Income Certificates, 3 Domicile Certificates, new ST Certificates, and 31 Jamabandi Income Reports. Additionally, Birth Certificates were issued, 5 ABHA Cards were created, 4 PMJAY enrollments were completed and 16 individuals were screened under the NCD programme by the Medical Department. The Animal Husbandry Department distributed deworming tablets, while the Food and Civil Supplies Department conducted ration card verification for 20 households. The Agriculture Department issued 2 greenhouses, 4 PM-Kisan applications, 5 KCCs, and a VAST D composer.

Several other public grievances were addressed, and essential services were provided by various departments during the camp.

The campaign concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by a representative of the village, expressing gratitude to all participating departments and the District Administration for organizing the outreach programme.
