SSP Awantipora inaugurates T20 cricket tournament in Awantipora

Srinagar, February 18 (KIP)- Jammu, Srinagar, February 18 (Scoop News)- Police in Awantipora under the aegis of Civic Action Programme 2025-26, inaugurated T20 knockout Cricket Tournament at DPL Awantipora.
The tournament was inaugurated by SSP Awantipora, besides DySP DAR other officers were also present. 08 teams from various areas of Police District Awantipora are participating in the tournament. The inaugural match was played between Super Challengers Satopakhren VS Mantaqi Sports Awantipora.
SSP Awantipora while interacting with the players expressed that J&K Police is on fore front in organizing various sports events as it brings positive energy in the youth & competitive spirit, good health and keeps the individual away from the negative forces.
