BJP aspires not for power, but for selfless service to the people: Baldev Billawaria

Basohli, February 22 (KIP)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District Pahari organized a district-level workshop in Basohli under the banner of "Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan." The workshop was chaired by Pahari District President Gopal Kishan, while BJP Jammu and Kashmir General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria, along with BJP Pahari District Prabhari Amar Singh, DDC Neeru Bala, Narayan Dutt Tripathi, Vikram Singh, and other senior leaders addressed the workshop.
Addressing the workshop, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that this training reminds workers that the for a BJP activist the nation comes first, the organization comes second and the individual comes last. He said that trained activists become not just electoral warriors but also act as a guiding force for the society. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi advocates that for a BJP activist, we are an organization-based political party, our organization is worker-based, and our workers are ideology-based. He called upon party workers to embrace this training with complete dedication, discipline, and introspection, and to honor the mission of Narendra Modi. By incorporating the thoughts of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee in our conduct, we should move forward with more determination on the path of organization and national service.
Billawaria further added that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee fourght to achieve “Ek Pradhaan, Ek Nishan, Ek Samvidhan” while the Integral humanism of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay teaches us that the center of politics is not power, but the person standing in the last row. He said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee held that the BJP aspires not for power, but for selfless service to the people. He remembered the words of Atal ji as "I would not like to touch the power with a pair of tongs, which is achieved through party splits or unethical alliances." Therefore, this training is also a powerful means of awakening social sensitivity and a sense of responsibility among workers, and that too with a spirit of service, dedication, and harmony, Billawaria added.
Baldev Billawaria further expressed confidence that this mega campaign will further strengthen organizational unity and provide workers with new energy and clarity in fulfilling their upcoming responsibilities.
Gopal Kishan, while expressing gratitude to the senior leadership for the guidance, said that this campaign is important in realizing the concept of developing and nurturing the nation thorough organization strengthening and the organizational strengthening to be achieved through the development of strong and dedicated party activist. He also shared the further roadmap for the training workshops to be held till shakti kendra level.
