Srinagar, March 10 (KIP)-A delegation of the Awami Ittehad Party visited Naidkhai to congratulate Irfan Ahmad Lone, a visually impaired youth who has successfully qualified the prestigious Union Public Service Commission examination.
The delegation comprised AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi, Party Spokesperson Firdouse Ahmad Baba, Abrar Rashid son of incarcerated Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid and Sonawari Constituency Incharge Anayat Bhat.
The AIP leaders congratulated Irfan Ahmad Lone and his family, stating that his achievement is truly extraordinary as he is the son of a daily wager and has reached this milestone despite being visually impaired. They said the success reflects immense determination, courage and dedication.
Speaking on the occasion, AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi said the achievement should serve as a reminder for policymakers to understand the struggles of thousands of daily wager families across Jammu and Kashmir. He said the government must regularise daily wagers so that the dreams of their children and families can also be fulfilled. “If daily wagers are provided job security and dignity, their families will gain stability and their children will have a fair chance to pursue education and build their future,” he said.
During the visit, the delegation also conveyed the warm congratulations and best wishes of jailed Baramulla Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid to Irfan Ahmad Lone and his family. Er Rashid described the achievement as a moment of pride for the entire region and wished the young achiever great success in his future service to the nation.
Local residents also gathered to celebrate the success and hailed the achievement as an inspiration for students across Jammu and Kashmir. The AIP leaders expressed hope that Irfan Ahmad Lone’s journey will motivate many more young people, particularly from humble backgrounds, to pursue their dreams despite challenges.
