Says increasing trust of people in BJP reflects Party’s commitment to service, development

Jammu,March 18 (KIP)-Former Minister and Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Vice President Priya Sethi chaired a series of organizational meetings of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu, Akhnoor, and Nowshera to review ongoing party activities and formulate a robust strategy for upcoming programmes aimed at strengthening the party across the region.
The meetings saw participation from senior party leaders and functionaries. In Jammu, District President Rajesh Gupta, along with MLAs Yudhvir Sethi and Arvind Gupta, attended the meeting. In Akhnoor, District President Kuldeep Sharma, MLA Mohan Lal Bhagat, and former MLA Rajeev Sharma were present, while in Nowshera, District President Pritam Sharma and MLA Raghuvir Singh participated. A large number of senior members, office bearers, and grassroots workers were also part of the deliberations.
Addressing the separate meetings, Priya Sethi highlighted that the BJP’s growing acceptance among the people of Jammu and Kashmir is a direct result of its strong grassroots connect, pro-people governance, and the unwavering dedication of its cadre.
She said that the party has been consistently working towards addressing public issues and ensuring development reaches every section of society.
“The increasing trust of the people in BJP reflects our commitment to service and development. Our workers have played a vital role in connecting with the masses and taking the party’s vision to every household,” she said.
Priya Sethi laid special emphasis on strengthening the booth-level structure, describing it as the backbone of the party organization. She urged party leaders to focus on activating booths in remote and far-flung areas, ensuring that every unit remains functional and engaged with local communities.
“The booth is the foundation of our strength. A well-organized and active booth ensures effective outreach and helps us understand and address the concerns of the people at the grassroots level,” she added.
She also called for intensified public outreach, urging party workers to remain accessible and responsive to the needs of the people. She stressed the importance of effectively communicating government schemes and welfare initiatives to ensure maximum benefit reaches the intended beneficiaries.
The meetings also included a detailed review of ongoing organizational activities and discussions on future strategies. Leaders shared feedback from their respective areas and identified key areas that require attention. Emphasis was laid on coordination, discipline, and active participation of workers at all levels.
Priya Sethi further encouraged the cadre to work with unity and dedication while preparing for upcoming programmes. She said that collective efforts and strong teamwork would be essential in expanding the party’s presence and strengthening its base in the region.
The meetings concluded on a positive note, with party leaders reaffirming their commitment to organizational growth and public service.
