Ashok Koul reviews organizational activities in Doda
calls for intensified grassroots outreach

Doda, March 18 (KIP)-Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul chaired an organizational meeting of the Doda District team at the party office, Doda, to review ongoing activities and strategize a robust roadmap for upcoming programmes aimed at further strengthening the party across the region.
The meeting was attended by J&K BJP Secretary & Prabhari Doda Pawan Sharma, District President Doda Babu Ram Sharma, MLA Doda Constituency Shakti Raj Parihar, Prabhari Kishtwar Gajay Singh, and former DDC Chairman Dhanantar Singh, along with other senior party functionaries and activists.
Addressing the meeting, Ashok Koul emphasized that the BJP’s growing acceptance among the masses in Jammu & Kashmir is a result of its strong grassroots connect, people-centric policies, and dedicated cadre. He called for further strengthening of the booth-level structure, especially in remote and far-flung areas, asserting that the booth remains the core of the party’s organizational strength. He stressed that increased pravas (outreach visits) by senior leaders will not only energize the cadre but also reinforce the party’s presence at the grassroots level.
Koul sought detailed reports on ongoing organizational programmes and reviewed their implementation, underlining the need for accountability and result-oriented functioning. He shared the roadmap for forthcoming party initiatives and directed the cadre to ensure their effective execution with maximum public participation. He reiterated that the ideology and vision of the party, rooted in nationalism, development, and good governance, must reach every household through sustained efforts.
Pawan Sharma highlighted the importance of expanding the party’s outreach by actively involving prominent citizens, social leaders, and opinion makers in organizational programmes. He stated that a strong and continuous engagement with the public will further consolidate the party’s base and deepen its connect with the people.
Babu Ram Sharma underlined the consistent efforts being made by the district team to reinforce the party structure at the grassroots. He emphasized that the unwavering bond between party activists and the public is the foundation of BJP’s strength and must be further strengthened through continuous interaction and public outreach.
Shakti Raj Parihar elaborated on the pivotal role of elected representatives in addressing public concerns and ensuring that government schemes and developmental initiatives reach the last mile. He stressed that public representatives must act as a vital link between the government and the people, while working in close coordination with party workers to uphold the trust reposed by the masses
