DC Kathua reviews arrangements for JKSSB Junior Assistant Examination

Kathua, April 10 (KIP)-Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma today reviewed the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the upcoming JKSSB examination at a meeting held in the DC Office Complex, here.
The JKSSB written examination for the post of Junior Assistant is scheduled to be held on April 19, 2026.
The Deputy Commissioner held a detailed discussion with concerned officers regarding the arrangements being put in place to ensure the seamless conduct of the examination. It was informed that 10 examination centres have been established across the district for the purpose.
The meeting reviewed key aspects including drinking water facilities, power supply, seating arrangements, security deployment and videography at all examination centres.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of close coordination among all stakeholders. He directed them to work in a coordinated manner to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examination. He also briefed officers on their roles and responsibilities for efficient execution of the process.
The Deputy Commissioner impressed upon the designated officers to strictly adhere to the protocols laid down by JKSSB to maintain transparency and fairness during the examination process.
The Police Department was directed to ensure adequate security arrangements, including proper frisking and deployment of personnel at all examination centres.
