MD Mission YUVA Visits CIED–IUST Foundation at IUST Innovation Campus

Awantipora,April 12 (KIP)-A high level delegation, led by Shri Harvinder Singh (IAS), Director Employment and Managing Director, Mission Yuva, Jammu & Kashmir, visited the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED–IUST Foundation) at the IUST Innovation Campus, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST).Shri Harvinder Singh and members of the Mission Yuva delegation including Prof Muqbil Burhan, IIM Jammu,Mr Rashid Raina, KAS, interacted with Prof. A. H. Moon, Dean Academic Affairs IUST, Prof Pervez Ahmad Mir, Director CIED and coordinators of CIED's verticals. Prof Moon briefed the visiting delegation about various ongoing initiatives.
Prof. Parvez Mir, Director CIED-IUST provided a comprehensive and detailed presentation outlining the operational framework, key programs and measurable impact of the Foundation.
The delegation also toured various cutting-edge innovation and technology laboratories established under the Foundation including iFactory Lab, DST Design and Development (D&D) Lab, Fab Lab, UltraTech Cement Lab and other state-of-the-art facilities that support research, prototyping and startup Incubation. The delegation appreciated the efforts of CIED–IUST Foundation in creating a vibrant ecosystem for nurturing entrepreneurial talent and fostering industry-academia partnerships.MD Mission Yuva reaffirmed their commitment to supporting such initiatives that empower youth through skill development, innovation and entrepreneurship, contributing to the broader vision of economic growth and self-reliance of Jammu & Kashmir.
