Nubra, May 04 (KIP)-The Deputy Commissioner, Nubra, Shri Mukul Beniwal, IAS, convened an introductory meeting with officers and officials of the Nubra, including the newly appointed Superintendent of Police, Nubra, Shri Stanzin Losal, JKPS, following his assumption of charge.
At the outset, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nubra, Shri Jigmet Raftan, JKAS, presented a brief overview of the administrative setup and functioning. This was followed by a round of introductions, wherein the Heads of Offices apprised the Deputy Commissioner of their respective departmental roles, responsibilities, and ongoing activities.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for commitment, efficiency, and discipline in public service. He highlighted the importance of ensuring timely and effective implementation of government schemes so that benefits reach all eligible beneficiaries. He also directed officers to strengthen grassroots-level outreach by conducting regular public interaction programmes across villages to enhance awareness and service delivery.
The Deputy Commissioner further underscored the importance of maintaining punctuality and accountability in day-to-day functioning. He informed that periodic review meetings would be held to monitor progress and ensure improved administrative coordination across departments.
The meeting was attended by all Heads of Offices and officials of Nubra District.
