Communist collapse reflects India’s shift towards Development and Unity: Dr. Pardeep

Jammu, May 05(KIP)-India is steadily liberating itself from the divisive and outdated politics propagated by Communist parties and opportunistic opposition forces that thrived for decades on social fragmentation, class conflict, regional divisions, and appeasement politics, stated J&K BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra.
Dr. Pardeep said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is moving decisively towards becoming a strong, united, and globally respected power, while opposition parties like Congress and those driven by communist ideology continue to act as obstacles to national growth, stability, and progress.
Referring to the recent Assembly election results, Dr. Pardeep termed the defeat of the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) government in Kerala as a “historic political turning point” in independent India. He said that with the fall of the last communist government in the country, India has entered a new era where the people have overwhelmingly rejected politics based on division, ideological rigidity, and anti-development narratives.
“Kerala had made global headlines in 1957 for electing the world’s first democratically elected communist government. Today, the people of the same state have decisively rejected communist rule, exposing the failure of their outdated model and anti-growth governance,” he said.
Dr. Pardeep asserted that the decline of communist parties has been caused by rampant corruption, economic stagnation, rising public debt, unemployment, industrial backwardness, and governance failures masked behind hollow slogans and ideological propaganda. He said that the people of India now seek development, employment, infrastructure, investment, national pride, and social harmony rather than conflict-oriented politics.
Highlighting the BJP’s growing footprint across the country, Dr. Pardeep pointed to the party’s remarkable success in Assam and West Bengal and the NDA’s strong performance in Puducherry as clear indicators that the nation is rallying behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agenda of development, nationalism, and good governance.
He said that BJP believes in “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,” which strengthens national unity and empowers every section of society without discrimination. In contrast, he said, opposition parties survive on fear-mongering, caste equations, regionalism, and divisive vote-bank politics.
Dr. Pardeep maintained that the continued rise of BJP across India reflects the people’s faith in decisive leadership, transparent governance, national security, and inclusive development, while the collapse of communist influence marks the rejection of divisive and failed political ideologies.
