Police Attaches Property Worth 15 Lacs In Handwara Under Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan

Srinagar, May 23 (KIP)- Reinforcing its unwavering commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against drug trafficking, police in Handwara has struck a significant blow to the narcotics network by attaching a residential house belonging to Bilal Ahmad Khatana son of Gh Mohi-U-Din Khatana resident of Ucher Magam Handwara.
The attached property has been identified as having been renovated through proceeds generated from illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, marking a decisive step in targeting illegally acquired assets. The accused is involved in multiple FIRs in NDPS Act.
The action has been carried out under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, as part of an intensified crackdown aimed not only at arresting offenders but also dismantling the financial infrastructure supporting the drug trade.
Police reiterates that any property derived from drug-related activities will face strict legal action, and such measures will continue relentlessly to choke the economic backbone of drug networks.
