Pragati Padyatra showcases Modi Govt's infrastructure revolution at Navyug tunnel: Ashok Koul

Qazigund, Anantnag, June 12 (KIP)-J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul visited the strategically important Navyug Tunnel at Qazigund in Anantnag district to highlight the transformative development witnessed across the nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as part of the ongoing Pragati Padyatra under the theme "12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare."
Ashok Koul was accompanied by BJP District President Anantnag Rakesh Koul and senior leader Rafiq Wani during the visit. The leaders interacted with party workers and local residents and underscored the significance of the landmark infrastructure projects completed over the past twelve years.
Ashok Koul, addressing on the occasion, said that the Navyug Tunnel stands as a shining symbol of New India's development journey and the Modi government's unwavering commitment to strengthening connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir.
"The past twelve years have been dedicated to building a stronger, more prosperous and inclusive India. From remote villages to border regions, development has reached every doorstep without discrimination. The Navyug Tunnel has not only reduced travel time and ensured all-weather connectivity between Jammu and Kashmir but has also boosted trade, tourism and economic opportunities for the people," he said.
Koul further stated that the Prime Minister's vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas' has transformed governance from mere announcements to time-bound implementation of projects aimed at public welfare. He said that J&K has emerged as a major beneficiary of this development-oriented approach. Massive investments in roads, tunnels, railways, healthcare, education and social welfare schemes have laid the foundation for a brighter future for the coming generations.
Rakesh Koul said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are witnessing visible changes in infrastructure and public services due to the focused efforts of the Central Government.
