ACB files charge-sheet against 02 accused Persons, in Disproportionate assets case

Jammu,/Srinagar, June 15 (KIP)-Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau produced Chargesheet in case FIR No. 18/2020 for the commission of offences U/S 5(1) (e) r/w5(2) of J&K Prevention of Corruption Act. Svt. 2006, 109 RPC at Police Station ACB Srinagar Kashmir before the Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar against 02 accused persons namely Tariq Ahmad Ganie (Junior Engineer J&K Housing Board S/O Ghulam Qadir Ganie and his wife Mst. Rukhsana Jan (Ananganwari worker in ICDS Department) Residents of Aalai Gund Chandergam Tral in connection with Disproportionate assets acquired by them.
The instant case was registered on the outcome of a verification conducted by this Bureau against Tariq Ahmad Ganie, posted as Junior Engineer in Housing Board, into the allegations of acquiring “Disproportionate assets” beyond his known sources of income in shape of huge transactions (cores of Rupees) in his various bank accounts.
The investigation conducted by Police Station ACB Srinagar, against the accused Public Servant and his wife who is working as Anganwari worker in the office ICDS Department have substantiated allegations levelled against them.
After obtaining the requisite sanction for prosecution of public servants from the Govt. the Chargesheet against both accused persons namely Tariq Ahmad Ganie S/O Ghulam Qadir Ganie and his wife Mst. Rukhsana Jan Residents of Aalai Gund Chandergam Tral was produced before the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar for Judicial determination.
