JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra meets various delegation at Rajiv Bhawan PCC HQ Jammu

Jammu, June 15 (KIP)- A deputation of the Christian community, led by Mr. Michael Wazir and Mr. Nasir Masih, met with the PCC President, Shri Tariq Hameed Karra at Rajiv Bhawan PCC HQ Jammu, to discuss various issues concerning to the Christian community.
The meeting was also attended by Working President Shri Raman Bhalla, Former Minister Shri Mula Ram, EX-MP Ch. Lal Singh, EX-MLC Shri Ved Mahajan, Co-inchage Iqbal Dar, Sohit Sharma-Assembly Incharge Jammu East , Virinder Manhas, Vijayant Pathania and others.
During the meeting, the deputation highlighted several long-pending demands, including the construction of a Community Hall, the opening of a library at the Social Welfare Centre in Christian Colony, and reservation benefits for the downtrodden Christian community. The members emphasized that these issues are of great importance for the social, educational, and economic upliftment of the community.
The Congress President listened patiently to the concerns raised by the deputation and assured them that the matter would be taken up with the concerned departments by the congress leadership. He further assured the delegation that he would continue to fight for the rights and welfare of the Christian community and extend all possible support in addressing their genuine demands.
PCC President while addressing the delegation advised them to be more participative in congress meetings and programmes.
The deputation expressed gratitude to the Congress President for giving them a patient hearing and for assuring necessary action on the issues raised.
Besides Nasir Masih and Michael Wazir other participants are :- Pr. Samuel Gill, Mr. Asif Teji, Shayam Gill, Victor Masih, Raj Kumar, Saleem Sotra, Hellary Sotra, Michael John, Ravi, Nazir, Som Masih, Reval Masih, Chinnu, Alwin Mark Gill and Sham Gill.
The second deputation of Musilim community from Ward No.9 also met with the PCC President and highlighted the issues faced by them on day today basis. The deputation raised the issue of construction works not being allotted on fair basis. The work as per them is allotted to the selective persons and avoiding the genuine contractors.
The deputation members were Mr. Sumeer Salim, Mohd Farooq Rao, Mohd Anwar Khan, Mohd Jameel Khan, Farakh Gulzar, Mohd Shawkat Qureshi and Shahid Iqbal.
