IUST Crosses 113 Patents as Bharat Innovates 2026 Begins

Awantipora,June 16 (KIP)- As the nation celebrates Bharat Innovates 2026 at Nice, France, IUST has crossed the significant milestone of 113 patents, reflecting the University's growing culture of innovation, creativity, and translational research. Bharat Innovates 2026 aims to showcase India's innovation and deep-tech capabilities to the world by connecting Indian startups, and global partners to accelerate technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, and innovation-led economic growth.
Over the past few years, IUST has established a vibrant innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem by setting up state-of-the-art incubation centres, innovation hubs, maker spaces, and technology-enabled platforms that nurture ideas from conception to commercialization. This achievement is a testament to the ingenuity and dedication IUST’s faculty, researchers, students, and innovators, and underscores IUST's emergence as a leading innovation-driven institution in the country. Through sustained mentoring, financial support, and an enabling policy environment, the University is empowering young innovators and start-ups to develop solutions that address societal challenges and contribute to economic growth.
IUST’s efforts have received national recognition from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, reaffirming IUST's commitment to fostering innovation-led education and entrepreneurship.
