IUST to Host First HR Conclave
Industry Leaders, HR Professionals and Academia to Deliberate on Workforce Readiness

Awantipora, June 22 (KIP)-The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), is set to organize the University's first HR Conclave on Wednesday, June 24. The Conclave is being organized by the Centre for Career Counselling and Placements (CCCP) and Industry Connect under the aegis of the Dean Outreach. The conclave aims to strengthen the interface between academia and industry while fostering meaningful dialogue on emerging workforce requirements, employability, and the future of skills.
The conclave is being organized around the theme "Youth, Skills and Employment Summit 2026: Bridging Academia and Industry for Sustainable Careers." It will bring together human resource professionals, industry leaders, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, academicians, policy practitioners, faculty members, career resource coordinators, and students on a common platform to deliberate on the evolving employment landscape and the competencies required for future-ready graduates.
Over the years, IUST has established itself as a university committed to academic excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry engagement. Through an ecosystem of research, technology development, internships, placements, innovation, and academic outreach, the University has consistently worked towards enhancing the employability of its students while building enduring partnerships with industry and institutions.
