M C Chopra Charitable Trust Donates Fully Equipped Hearse Van to Swarg Ashram, Shastri Nagar, Jammu

Jammu, June 26 (KIP)-In a significant humanitarian initiative aimed at strengthening community welfare, M C Chopra Charitable Trust donated a fully equipped Hearse Van to Swarg Ashram Cremation Ground, Shastri Nagar, Jammu.
The Hearse Van was donated by Mr. Chetan Chopra and Mr. Kunal Chopra, Trustees of M C Chopra Charitable Trust, as part of the Trust's ongoing philanthropic endeavours to serve society. The vehicle will facilitate the dignified transportation of mortal remains and further strengthen the services being provided by the cremation ground, offering timely assistance to bereaved families during their most difficult moments.
During the event, the keys of the Hearse Van were formally handed over by the Chopra family to S. Balvinder Singh, Chairman, Sh. Bharat Kumar Sharma, Secretary, and Sh. Suresh Sethi, Treasurer, of Swarg Ashram Cremation Ground, Shastri Nagar, Jammu. The event was attended by Sh. Chander Udhay Sharma, President, Resident Welfare Association, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Sh. Arun Sharma, General Secretary, RWA Gandhi Nagar, and other distinguished guests.
Expressing his heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the management of Swarg Ashram Cremation Ground, S. Balvinder Singh, Chairman, thanked M C Chopra Charitable Trust and its Trustees, Mr. Chetan Chopra and Mr. Kunal Chopra, for their generous and compassionate contribution. He stated that the donation of the Hearse Van would significantly enhance the cremation ground's ability to provide dignified, timely and essential transportation services to bereaved families, thereby serving the community in times of need.
Speaking on the occasion, the Trustees reiterated their commitment to serving society through meaningful philanthropic initiatives and affirmed that M C Chopra Charitable Trust would continue to undertake projects dedicated to the welfare and well-being of the community.
