Administrative Secretary reviews implementation of SDP and State Sector Schemes

Leh, July 14 (KIP)-Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department (PD&MD), Himanshu Gupta, chaired a review meeting of ongoing works under the Special Development Package (SDP) and State Sector Schemes of Rural Development, Social welfare and Civil Aviation departments to assess the financial and physical progress in the first quarter of the FY 2026-27.
The meeting reviewed the implementation status of the projects being executed by the departments regarding the financial, physical progress and the status of ongoing development works under the respective departments.
During the review, the Administrative Secretary emphasised the need to ensure timely completion of all sanctioned projects while maintaining quality standards and adhering to approved timelines. He directed the concerned departments to closely monitor the progress of works, address implementation bottlenecks promptly, and ensure optimum utilisation of available resources for effective delivery of development initiatives.
Secretary, Himanshu Gupta, further stressed the importance of regular monitoring, improved inter-departmental coordination, and timely submission of progress reports to facilitate efficient implementation of projects across the Union Territory.
The meeting was attended by Administrative Secretary, Rural Development Department, Nidhi Malik; Director, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department; Director, Rural Development Department; Director, Social Welfare and Tribal Affairs Department; Deputy Director, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department; and other concerned officials.
The meeting concluded with a commitment from all departments to expedite the execution of the ongoing works and ensure the successful implementation of development projects under the Special Development Package and State Sector Schemes for the overall development of Ladakh.
