Charter of Demands to all MPs for the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament

New Delhi, July 31 (KIP)-The Delhi Union of Journalists (DUJ) in a 7 point Charter to Members of Parliament has called for immediate steps to save journalism in view of the increasing threats to press freedom and the growing attacks on the rights of journalists.
The DUJ demands in the seven point charter are address the crisis in media industry & working class post West Asia war, enact a comprehensive central law for protection of journalists, reinstate and expand the working journalists and other newspaper Employees Act 1955, repeal the four Labour Codes, Guarantee right to form trade unions and protect protests, pension & risk insurance for journalists and media workers, restore rail concession for journalists.
