MY Bharat, Ladakh Organises PM Interaction and Pledge Ceremony under the "Drug-Free Youth
for a Developed India – Pledge Campaign"

Leh, August 02 (KIP)- As part of the nationwide "Drug-Free Youth for a Developed India (Viksit Bharat) – Pledge Campaign", the Office of the State Director, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Leh-Ladakh, successfully organized the PM Interaction and Pledge Ceremony at the DC Conference Hall, Leh.
Administrative Secretary, Higher Education / Technical Education & Skill Development Department, Bhanu Prabha, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 250 youth, including students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Leh, and members of various MY Bharat Youth Clubs. The participants took the Drug-Free Youth Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to building a drug-free society and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Following the pledge ceremony, Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon'ble Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, addressed the participants through virtual mode under the Nasha Mukt Yuva – Viksit Bharat Abhiyan. During his address, he emphasized the vital role of youth in eliminating drug abuse and becoming responsible nation-builders. The programme was witnessed virtually by around one crore participants from across the country.
The highlight of the event was the virtual interaction and address by Shri Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India. In his inspiring address, the Prime Minister urged young people to stay away from drugs, adopt healthy lifestyles, and actively contribute to the nation's progress towards a Developed India (Viksit Bharat). His interaction deeply motivated the youth and reinforced the importance of their role in shaping the future of the country.
The programme concluded with the distribution of participation certificates to all the participating youth in recognition of their active involvement in the campaign. The event ended with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, participating institutions, MY Bharat volunteers, Youth Clubs, and all stakeholders for their valuable support in making the programme a grand success.
